Most businesses have the same problems.
Information lives in the wrong place. Work gets handed between too many people. Decisions take longer than they should. Someone spends hours every week copying information from one system to another.
The industry changes. The bottlenecks don't.
I spend most of my time looking for those bottlenecks and building systems to remove them.
Right now that work happens inside Evolve Skateboards, where I build and run the company's AI infrastructure. Support agents, content systems, internal tools and automations all sit on top of a shared knowledge layer I call Company Brain. Most of it lives inside Slack. Some of it is visible. Most of it isn't.
What interests me is not AI itself. It's what happens when software becomes capable enough to participate in work. The tools change every few months. The underlying questions stay the same. How should information move through an organisation? What should be automated? What should remain human? Where are the constraints that nobody has noticed yet?
This site is a place to think through those questions in public. Some posts are about systems, some about AI and some about things I'm building. Mostly it's a record of what I'm learning as the technology changes around us.
